My Favourite Colour

I came across this colour about 3 years ago by coincidence. It was a miss dye I received while I was trialling piece dyed Italian linen. I love this colour because of its diversity. It always manages to amaze me at how perfectly balanced it is between being Grey and Brown. It is minimal in its saturation, which allows this colour to easily coordinate with almost any colour…especially in an interior setting. It is great to style with either Taupes for a natural feel or alternatively with Charcoals and Greys for a more contemporary feel. It works really well when a highlight colours like Rust and Dark Storm Blue is added.
Moon Rock is neither dark nor light in its tone, and for this reason it translates very well in fabric or as a solid colour.

Wow! This is the most divine colour. I think it’s pretty close to my favourite too. I’d like to see a dash of Torquoise in with that Storm Blue and Charcoal in a predominantly Moon Rock room, with a natural floor. Cool on warm. Yum.
I like your thinking Nicola. Keep in touch. M
