The grey green colour seems at once modern and traditional, deeply english national trust house tradition and also cool swedish scandinavian stockholm modern. Grey greens can change dramatically with changes in light and so manage to be subtle and neutral and retain interest, they work well with dark wood, stone and brass and natural materials. Calm and cool.
