“The thing is there isn’t a colour I don’t like but there are one or two that I particularly love and I’m nailing my colours just now to the Lilac mast! I love the way Lilac emerges as a hue in the stormy sky, flatters almost anyone that wears it, compliments so many other colours from tobacco to lemon and reminds me in Winter of the heady scent of Lilac trees in Spring. We have a Lilac bathroom at home and I have a brace of Lilac shirts in my wardrobe so I literally do wear my heart on my sleeve…”
